Testing the Drains

Well this week has brought quite a bit of rain and with it, a chance to see some of the new changes in action! Below are a few pictures of new drain lines on holes 3 and 4. Although not complete, the fact that water is collecting around these pipes means they are positioned correctly and once these areas are sodded and the grates put in, the water will funnel precisely as designed. 

 

Renovation Update - December 9th, 2019

Initial construction has started on holes 1 through 6. The goal is to be complete with drainage, bunkers, and selected tee leveling in this area by the end of January. After which time we will begin a much larger phase of construction on all remaining holes.

The long awaited renovation to Iron Horse Golf Course has begun! The City of North Richland Hills and Arcis Golf have partnered with Golfscapes, Inc and Fleetwood Services to bring about much needed improvements to one of the most celebrated municipal golf courses in the area. The projects main focus will center on a new irrigation system, looking to reduce flooding impact, improving surface drainage, reducing and renovating sand bunkers, and leveling of tees. The scope of this project is quite large and will take several months.
